Procurement Narrative: 

A City Request for Proposal announcement was made on May 13, 2015 for Civil Engineering Services for Disaster Recovery. Proposals were accepted until June 4, 2015 and 23 proposals were submitted. The following firms were selected:

  1. Meshek & Associates
  2. Poe & Associates
  3. Cabbiness Engineering
  4. CEC Infrastructure Solutions

Downey Contracting, LLC

The work will consist of the construction of drainage improvements at the Little River Park, Moore, Oklahoma.

Procurement Narrative: 

A City Bid announcement was made on February 23, 2018 for Little River Park Drainage Improvements. Bids were accepted March 26, 2018 and three submittals were received. Downey Contracting, LLC was awarded the contract on May 7, 2018.

Project Updates

Engineer provided assistance to the City for construction contractors. Engineer provided CAD files, bid tabulation, and recommendation letter for the project.

Engineer is finalizing Clomar Report/ Final check of plan set.

Engineer submitted final signed plans and CLOMR report.

On site meeting, adding bid alternates to plans, finalizing estimate and dam safety analysis.

Final Hydraulic report, and in-house review and adjustments for a Final submittal.

Final Hydraulic report, sizing proposed inlets for final plans, and in-house review and adjustments for a 90% submittal.

Engineer is updating comments and in-house review for a 90% plans submittal.

Updating plans and preparing 90% submittal.

Quantities and notes sheet updating. Quality Assurance and Quality Control review from Principal Engineer. Submitted 60% plans for review.

Engineers updated hydraulic model for channel design, reviewed plans for playground site grading and subgrade drainage design.
