2017 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan

The City of Moore through the Department of Housing and Community Development must develop, in consultation with citizens, community groups, non-profit entities, business organizations and government offices, an annual action plan covering the period October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.  The Annual Action Plan assesses housing and community development needs in the City of Moore and established strategies to address these needs, using Federal and other funds, over a one-year period.  A U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved Consolidated Plan is required to receive funding under one Federal formula grant program: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).

Why take the survey?

To further the Annual Action plan process, the City of Moore is conducting a survey to help gather citizen input. The primary purpose for this survey is to afford citizens and community partners an opportunity to discuss housing and community development needs, strategies to address needs and review the City’s past performance with regard to the above mentioned formula programs. The survey addresses community needs in the following areas: neighborhood infrastructure, economic development, public services, and public facilities.
